Grenache sourced from the sandy soils of Kalimna is blended with Cinsault from the red clay soils of Marananga to make this lighter style red.
I love producing these graceful and buoyant low alcohol wines and showcasing their ability to still be complex and multi dimensional.
The aroma is a tapestry woven with earthiness threaded together with cords confectionary. The Grenache glows with fruit forward and frivolous flavours of raspberries, kiwifruit, butterscotch and orange rind that blend beautifully with the tart cherries and savoury slices of of cinnamon sticks seeded by the Cinsault. A delicate grain of tannin runs through the wine wearing a shawl of well balanced acidity.
Enjoy at room temperature or slightly chilled.
