This Shiraz was divined by a demand that I could not deny. A thirsty thrum of Pagan Perfume purveyors persuaded me to placate their palates. So in an attempt to up the ante I have hand selected six seasoned hogshead barrels of my favourite Shiraz wines produced in 2022. A blend of several different sites grown on the ‘casino strip’ in Marananga, otherwise known as Roennfeldt Road. The wine has come together beautifully. After a two-year sojourn in barrel it’s rounded, ripe and robust. Black fruits burst like balloons from the bottle begging to become one with your breath.
