BARONESS OF THE BOHEMIUM VAGAONDS
An early hand pick of Shiraz from the ‘Casino Strip’, Roennfeldt Road was executed in early February. This light vibrant fruit was de-stemmed to picking bins and left on skins for three days until the indigenous ferment began. It was then quickly pressed off skins to try and capture a youthful and vibrant colour and allowed to finish ferment in seasoned oak.
Aromas of sweet and sour cherries, spice, red berries and apples mingle magically. A dynamic palate of lively red fruit, mint and strawberries dance longingly with architectural acidity and finely grained tannins.
The Bohemians blessed to get a bottle or two of this rare potation will surely be bewitched by her beauty and elegance.
