The Co-Conspirator came to life through ‘a friend of a friend’. The Gunslingers neighbour tasted the wines we were making for him and asked if we could produce something for him from his Cabernet block in Seppeltsfield.

2023 was a mild and wet Summer that encouraged the creation of soft and elegant wines. The Cabernet was fermented on skins for seven days before being basket pressed to hogshead barrels and was then blended prior to bottling with a barrel of Roennfeldt Road Shiraz.

Offering an aroma of earthy asparagus, herbs, black currant and salty plums. An easy drinking elixir expressing characteristics of red currant, red and black cherries, herbs and spices, a slender line of salinity and chocolate coated black liquorice. A confident yet cautious cabernet tannin is tamed by a tempting acidity.
